What is PACS?

PACS stands for Picture Archiving and Communication System. It is a must for all modern diagnostic imaging facilities. Its key functions include receiving images from imaging scanners (CT, MR, PET-CT, nuclear medicine, X-Ray, etc.); storing and managing such images for long term, near term or short term archive; providing viewing and diagnostic tools for clinicians to interpret or review such images.

What is PACSCloud?

PACSCloud is Thinking Systems' state of the art cloud-based, AI-driven PACS. It offers comprehensive diagnostic imaging solutions for all specialties, including oncology, cardiology,  molecular imaging, and general radiology.

In comparison, other vendors' PACS are primarily for general radiology only.

Why choose Thinking Systems’ PACSCloud?

The uniqueness of PACSCloud is its broad spectrum of solutions for all diagnostic imaging needs.  Instead of having separate specialty PACS, PACSCloud offers them in one platform. It’s cloud technology and advanced AI enables clinicians to provide the best patient care with uttermost accuracy, efficiency and productivity. The unmatched agility, scalability, security, and customizability makes it the best option for institutions of any size.

Can PACSCloud integrate with existing systems?

Yes. It integrates seamlessly with third-part PACS, such as Change Healthcare PACS and Philips IntelliSpace PACS, to provide specialized diagnostic tools for PET-CT, SPECT-CT, PET-MR, nuclear cardiology, and nuclear medicine. It also integrates with EMR to allow easy access of radiology images directly from patient charts.

Is PACSCloud secure?

Yes. Its platform is secured by Microsoft Azure cloud's bullet proof security layers. Its data communications are secured by hardened industry standard encryption mechanisms. The multiple levels of redundancy ensures the safety and fidelity of archived data.

How does PACSCloud handle image sharing?

PACSCloud's Virtual Image Exchange (VIE) allows external providers and patients to securely view their images with specialized viewers, such as fusion viewer for PET-CT images, to download images with the same specialized viewers, and to upload images that they obtained somewhere else.
